Power Rankings: Week 14 (with 2026 Rankings)

12/03/2025

It's the final power rankings of the season. This week is the only thing standing between Super League and the playoffs. Everyone knows the scenarios and the bubble teams all need wins. For one last time in 2025, let's rank everyone. See the previous post for information on scenarios and the official standings.

2026 Rankings

note: if you were here last week, your write-up didnt change. your ranking may have, though.

6.Need for K1Speed

Need for K1Speed started selling some players for picks as soon as they could this year, clearly waiving the white flag on this season. The pick haul is modest, but still much better than a stock set of picks. The draft really starts picking up in the 4th round (if he keeps these picks), where he gets an extra selection every round until he finishes his draft in the 8th. The major reasons Joe isn't higher on this list is due to his lack of a winning track record and weak keepers compared to the rest of the list. His keepers project to be Drake Maye, DJ Moore, and James Fucking Conner (last week you had K9 man). Another reason is Need for K1Speed may be going by Shit Eating Skunks this time next year. While Joe is last in this rankings, it goes to show you that all of these bottom teams have a legitimate chance to make the playoffs next year.

5.For(th)ky Down (or whatever the team will be named next season)

Jackson is still very much in play for the playoffs this weekend, and has a much better chance at it than the other team I've added to the 2026 rankings this week, but it's still the most likely scenario that this team misses, so I feel that I should talk about this team's future this week. Jackson did pick up an extra second round pick, which very well could be coming in at 2.01 if the Sharks can get the job done this season. The only reason this team isn't in consideration for top 3 on this list is due to the lack of keeper depth. This team has JSN as its franchise cornerstone, which is stellar. But beyond that, there are no guys here I think are real keepers. He did get slightly better in that regard by stealing K9 from division rival Joe, but K9 isn't a stellar keeper. Perhaps a situation will change with one of these guys on the roster, but I'm not seeing the upside as of today. Still, Jackson proved this season that he is more than capable of making a playoff run if he has the right pieces. He earned my respect by getting Carter's old, dried up team back into playoff contention. One factor left this season that would go against his 2026 odds - if he does make the playoffs, then his pick isn't a lottery pick. That's easily worth it if you can win some money, though.

4.Team curritooooo

Curry entered the league mid season, with his year already over. Luckily for him, his 2026 situation is a lot better. His big three of Bucky, Jefferson, and Burrow has not suited up for him since taking over the team (though they have a chance in week 13), but they should be available next season barring more bad luck. They are all tradable players at worst. Curry also made a move to pick up an extra third rounder, which Need for K1Speed does not have. Curry's squad tracks to be a playoff team next season if they can bring in talent from the draft. Side note: I'd love to see what Curry can come up with in the franchise branding department.

3.Washington Fantasy Team

Fantasy Team spent the second half of the season losing and selling pieces, for the most part. This has set them up very nicely compared to 10/12 teams in the league. WFT has two first round picks for what I imagine to be the first time in franchise history, but correct me if I'm wrong on that. It seems like the plan for Curtis was always to spend his picks every year, reposition, and repeat, but this feels different. With Curtis being a top manager in league history, the only piece he's missing is keeper level talent, which he is severely lacking. Still, I'll probably have Curtis top three in the way too early edition of the 2026 power rankings.

2.The Bridge Road Orcas

The Orcas are the most likely team to be out of the playoff picture by the end of week 14, so I have to include them in the 2026 rankings here, but I would love to be wrong. The Orcas had a very up and down year this season, but everything changed when they traded away CMC. Now they hold two extra picks in the first two rounds for next season. The Orcas have the biggest draft ahead of them since the first Super League draft where they drafted a team that won the championship. If they nail it, they should absolutely be a top team for next season. Even if the Orcas make it in the playoffs this week, they will have at least one lottery pick between them and the Skunks as they both cannot make it. I have them slightly above WFT in the 2026 rankings due to the extra pick, and the young upside potential of the keeper trio on Bridge Road.

1.Parma Pirates

It had to be me. Despite being somewhat competitive this year, I've been preparing for the 2026 season all along. Just look at my picks - 10 selections before the end of the third round. Worst pick is a 9th rounder. My keepers include CeeDee Lamb and Ja'Marr Chase. This should be one of the most dominant teams in league history.

2025 Rankings

6.GIRTH (—)

GIRTH is faced with a do or die game this week that will determine his playoff fate. Some around the league are already muttering about what if GIRTH misses. It would be up there with Jacob for most disappointing seasons ever. However, something has told me all along that GIRTH is going to make the playoffs. They are currently favored by 10 points and have easily the better stars in the matchup, but with Dowdle and Kittle on the bench with BYE, anything is possible. It will be interesting to see if Hampton cracks the lineup this week, as he should be back from injury. This team has quite a lineup when healthy that should contend for a title if they can make it in. The question is, will GIRTH swell to the occasion, or fall flaccid?

5.Shit Eating Skunks (—)

The Skunks need a win. I actually fucked up their playoff scenarios, they have to win to get in. This is because they lack the points that all the other 7 win teams currently have, and would lose their H2H advantage with a loss to Orcas. The good news for the Skunks is that the Orcas still have an empty lineup at the time of writing this, with no clear way to get to a respectable level this week with all the BYEs. It would take a true miracle for the Skunks to lose this game. If you look at the depth of this team, it's hard to picture them taking home the title if I'm honest, but the one thing they have that no one else does is Jonathan Taylor. The Skunks should comfortably make their first ever playoffs in Super League.

4.Sacks in the City (—)

Another week, another Lamar performance under 12 points. But hey, the Sacks had to win last week and they got it done. Now they can sit back and wait and see who they draw in the 4/5 matchup, as this week vs Noah without CMC is meaningless. I still think this team will be a really hard out and is a true title contender, but they need Lamar to reach his previous floor at least to make things scary for everyone else. The defending champs continue their streak of making the playoffs every year in Super League, and have been by far the most successful expansion team in the league.

3.SLATTS SLIMES (📉-1)

The Slimes gutted out a divisional match which saw them clinch their first ever divisional title, and push the team into double digit wins for the first time ever. The drop here is only because the team above them has been the #1 offense in the league all season. While this team hasn't put up a great scoring season, they have maneuvered through injuries flawlessly all while only giving up one 2026 pick (second rounder), and even retained Malik Nabers. It's wild that the Slimes are here. After all, it was GIRTH that was expected to be in this position preseason. Now they can enjoy beating down Joe Gaul in the first ever Taco Bell Bowl, and skip straight to round 2 (and prize money) with the guaranteed BYE. What a season for a team who badly needed a pick me up preseason.

2.Bona Vista Beer Wolves (📈+1)

What BVBW lack in the standings they make up for in raw output. The Beer Wolves should glide to their first ever scoring title. The last time they scored under 125 was week 5. They haven't been under 115 all season. This team is floor and ceiling all in one. BVBW will await the lowest seeded bubble team making it in for the round 1 matchup, as they're very solidly locked into the third seed now. It could prove to be a hard matchup if they draw GIRTH, who has a team with a very high ceiling. Still, even with the extra playoff game, I give BVBW the second best chances of taking home the title. It hasn't been the 16-0 year we all remember, but it's been a very memorable one for one of the best franchises in the league.

1.Zark's Sharks (—)

It's week 14 and it's the Sharks ahead of the pack. This team has been absolutely cruising since the start of the Mickey Mouse Cup, which is giving them the edge in the standings. The Sharks should win this week, which would give them their first ever regular season championship in Super League, their franchise record for wins, and their buy-in already earned back. It would also put the Sharks tied for first in playoff appearances, which would match his step brother Curtis who will miss for the first time this season. All of this pales in comparison to what a championship would mean to this franchise. I believe the Sharks have the strongest path to the title this year, with the Sharks having the BYE and reseed privileges. He can avoid BVBW until the title game with this setup. It's been a long time coming, but this could finally be Zach's year.
