Power Rankings: Week 7

10/15/2025

Super League has never had this even of a league in its entire history, and here are four facts to prove it:

  • Most teams .500 or better at this point in league history

  • Even with no Super Flex, the lowest scoring team is 80 points better than last season by end of week 6

  • No undefeated or winless teams at this point, first time since expanding from 8 teams

  • Two teams already set franchise records for wins (GIRTH, Skunks), and two other teams have a decent chance to do so (Slimes, Buckys)

Everyone should be proud of this accomplishment. That's why this week, everyone's in the sick dude tier.

I also want to draw attention to some upcoming dates:

  • November 4 - Pick Window Opens at MIDNIGHT
  • November 6 - First week of IST
  • November 20 - Pick window closes / IST finals
  • November 26 - Trade Deadline at 11:59PM (night before Thanksgiving)

Sick Dude Tier

12.Need for K1 Speed (πŸ“‰-1)

At least this week, when you're last, you're still in the sick dude tier. Joe and K1 Speed have been pretty bad this year, but it's hard to get up to speed in such a competitive league. One must consider that keeping Lamar could have lead the team to a similar outcome, as he's missed games, but at least the team would have had Lamar.

11.The Bridge Road Orcas (πŸ“‰-2)

Wow, the Orcas have fallen a long way. They now sit with the longest loss streak in the league. The rest of the Johnson division all getting a win this week makes that loss turn into two. Even though everyone is in the sick dude(s) tier this week, there's no denying they have been a big step ahead of Need for K1 Speed. Still, there's Orcas are a step closer to the toilet bowl. A crucial week seven matchup vs the Pirates can either be a nail in the coffin or the beginning of an Orca resurgence. Brock Bowers, if you can hear me. Please save me!

10.Washington Fantasy Team (πŸ“ˆ+2)

Just when you think they're out they pull you back in. Taking advantage of weakened GIRTH, Fantasy Team delivers their second straight week over 125 points. This is being propelled by the #1 RB in the game right now, Jonathon Taylor. I still don't love this team's long term outlook but you can't deny they're moving in the positive direction.

9.Rubber Buckys (πŸ“‰-1)

Terrible week for the Buckys, but they're still without their rubber namesake. But, when you name your team after one guy and he's out, what can you expect. Especially given Burrow is still out, Jefferson was on bye, and Michael Pittman didn't deliver. I still like this team to be the spoiler team of the season.

8.For(th)ky Down (πŸ“‰-2)

What a tough break for For(th)ky Down. The bad news is they drop to 2-4, and haven't been able to take advantage of weakened GIRTH to move up over them in the standing. The good news is this team is playing excellent football. They haven't scored under 120 since week 1. Fantasy is about luck and timing, and this team hasn't had much success with either so far. More good news for them is that they face three lower tier opponents in the next three matchups. If this team wants to make the playoffs, they'll need to reach .500 at some point soon.

7.Shit Eating Skunks (β€”)

The Skunks squeak by in a low scoring affair. They didn't impress by any means this week - having the entire team active and all playing and only getting 103 points on 98% start/sit. This should be a red flag to the team owners here. Still, they needed to win and they got it. They stay in the playoff mix for now, but will need to pick up some tough games to fully get back to where they were a few weeks ago.

6.Parma Pirates (πŸ“ˆ+4)

The Pirates find a way to get it done again. They now reach .500 and 5th in the sleeper standings. The team has managed to lead the Moss division in scoring nearly all season and is putting up Sacks in the City level production without keeper CeeDee Lamb, and after losing RB1 James Conner. Rico Dowdle has lead the charge the last two weeks, which could change with Hubbard coming back. Lamb and Pearsall coming back should add a high floor here. The Pirates have more winnable games coming up, but still have two vs. the Sharks to consider as well. I'm very happy with my squad so far, considering the circumstances.

5.GIRTH (πŸ“‰-3)

GIRTH could be lower than this based on this week, but let's be fair to Truly and company. The team has been plagued with issues when they least needed it. Hampton on IR, Puka exits a game early, and Kittle leaving the team with Juwan as the main TE have all lead to these back to back losses. GIRTH has work to do if they want to get back in the divisional hunt, and should be wary of staying ahead of the surging For(th)ky Down.

4.SLATTS SLIMES (β€”)

The Slimes are having an exceptional season so far. They now hold the league's best record, and the biggest divisional lead in the league. You would think these factors would propel you to #1, but this is Super League. The main factor propelling this team forward right now is Josh Jacobs. The team has now eclipsed the 130 point mark for three straight weeks. The scoring upside early in the season limited this team, so if they continue on this path, I'll have no choice but to crown them as a top two team. There's also more moves that could be made here. This is the best #4 in super league power ranking history.

3.Zark's Sharks (πŸ“‰-2)

The Sharks lose a heartbreaker to fellow blueblood franchise Sacks in the City. Some good news is that Mr. rice gets to make his season debut as a Shark this week. There's a ton of solid pieces here as we've talked about all season. The bad news? The surprising play from other member of the Moss division threatens the Sharks' position if they lose any more games to lower tier teams. In comes Need for K1Speed, who has a lot of good matchups this week, and the Sharks will be without Josh Allen and Egbuka. I think the Sharks will be fine, but things are suddenly a lot more interesting than anyone thought they'd be.

2.Bona Vista Beer Wolves (πŸ“ˆ+3)

The Beer Wolves put up an exceptional week, including a top four scoring week in the 12 team era, and the highest on the season. They finally defeated their arch nemesis - start/sit, with a staggering 99.6% rate this week, with the whole team available. If the Beer Wolves can keep this up, they'll be #1 before you know it. While they have stayed level with Sacks in the City since week 3 and have the head to head win, I still prefer the overall team and body of work the Sacks have given us this season. I'm still wondering when this team is going to open up the trade machine as they've done every season in the league.

1.Sacks in the City (πŸ“ˆ+2)

The defending champs came up huge this week, winning a top ranked matchup against the Sharks in dramatic fashion, all without Lamar Jackson playing football for the team. The bet on the Ravens will certainly be tested if their skid continues, but I love this team yet again this season. Lamar needs to get back on the field for this team to hold this spot, but if he does come back for good, the league should start worrying about the possibility of a repeat champion.
